Sweet and Sour Sauce



1 cup organic sugar

1/2 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup water (or pineapple juice)

1 TBSP chopped pimento

1 TBSP chopped green pepper

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 tsp tapioca flour (or cornstarch)

1 TBSP cold water


Combine first seven ingredients

Boil 5 minutes

Blend cornstarch and water, add to syrup and cook until thickened.

Cool and strain.

Store in refrigerator
