Cranberry Sauce

My moms recipe

12 oz fresh cranberries

1 cup water

1 cup organic sugar

1 cup raisins (optional)

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

sprinkle of cinnamon

Rinse cranberries

Mix water and sugar, bring to a boil and cook til sugar is disolved, stirring frequently.

Add the cranberries, stir, return to boil.

Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 – 20 minutes or til berries break open.

Add optional ingredients as desired


Pour into glass bowl and allow to cool at room temperature til completely cool. Cover with air tight cover or plastic wrap and store in fridge.
